How You Can Help

St. Luke's Shelter.

Join forces with a dedicated group of volunteers and donors whose contributions of food, time, skills, or money make our work at St. Luke’s Shelter possible.

YOU CAN:

Drop off a hot meal for seven (six residents and one staff member) at the Shelter.

Share your wisdom by teaching shelter residents about a life skill such as time management, how to budget personal expenses or how to perform in a job interview.

Donate wish-list items.

Make a monetary contribution with a check, donate online with a credit card, set up payroll deduction through your employers United Way CFC campaign (#7940).

Shop online at iGive.com and a percentage of your sale can be donated to St. Luke’s Shelter.

St. Luke's Shelter is always in need of the following items:

CLEANING SUPPLIES AND PAPER PRODUCTS

  • Bleach
  • Dishwasher Soap
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Floor Cleaner (ie Mop and Glow)
  • Bathroom Cleaner (ie Soft Scrub)
  • Paper Towels
  • Toilet Paper

KITCHEN SUPPLIES AND FOOD ITEMS

  • Small Storage Containers
  • Freezer Bags
  • Coffee
  • Coffee Creamer
  • Breakfast Cereals and Breakfast Hot Pockets
  • Easily freezable meals (ie casseroles, lasagna, etc)
  • Bottled Water

TOILETRIES

  • Toothpaste
  • Bar Soap

 

All donations may be taken directly to the Shelter any evening between 6-8PM.
